Welcome to the Veg Box Donation Scheme (VBDS), a Christian non-profit organisation.

There is an ancient, biblical and lost custom of not reaping the corners of a field, and not going over the field again after the first harvest, to allow the poor and the foreigners to collect what was left behind – a practice called gleaning.

Perhaps not practical today, but we do the next best thing – our vision is to share our excess produce, as a community, with those in need in our local area.

We collect donations of fresh, healthy produce and distribute it as free of charge veg boxes to local residents referred to us as in food poverty.
